Flowers for Diecut Divas

I have another May flowers inspiration project highlighting Janes Doodles for Diecut Divas. Its pretty gloomy here at moment with Winter so I wanted to keep it nice and bright, this is what I came up with.

Diecut Divas, Janes Doodle Doodle bloom
Card Tip:
A great way to highlight an image is to use a frame created from die cuts, it also adds a bit of interest if you have the frame going off the page.

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock: white card base, Quill purple card stock.
Markers:
               Flower 1: V25, V17, V04, RV23+RV63+RV34
               Flower 2: BG07+BG05+BG02
               Leaves: YG03+G14+YG23
Dies: Simon Says Stamps stitched rectangles, Poppy Crafts nested stitched circle, Whimsy Stamps Birthday Sentimentables.
Other: Enamel dots in pink, yellow.

Mothers Day Tulips

This month over at Diecut Divas we are talking about May Flowers (trees, grass, and plants all count too) with the amazing sponsor Janes Doodles. Here is my inspiration project.

Diecut Divas, Janes Doodle Tulip

Card Tip:
Digital Stamps are just like rubber stamps, you have the ability to multi stamp the image in a row like this, instead of using ink, you use a word program to copy and paste them. It is easier to use a PNG file vs JPG file as they have a transparent background but you do need to play with the text wrapping setting for this to work.

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock: White card base, Creative pink card stock, Bazzil glitter purple card stock.
Stamps:Janes Doodles Tulips, Kaisercraft occasions mini stamps.
Ink: Memento tuxedo black ink.
Dies: Lil Inkers Designs bow die-small, Cheryl Lynn alison ribbons.
Other: Kaisercraft pink and purple gems.

A New Month and a New Theme over at Diecut Divas

Well here we are the 1st of Month again, and you know what that means, a whole challenge over at Diecut Divas. This month I got to choose the theme and I thought it was only appropriate to pick Birthdays - since this is my birthday month as well. For my inspiration project I decided to use one of FabrikaFantasy's pre-coloured images, and here it is:
Diecut Divas, FabrikaFantasy mightly wizard
Card Tip:
I have done partial diecuting on this image, leaving his wand out. To be perfectly honest; I have tried following tutorials on line and they never seem to work, this is how I did this:
1. Chose my die and stuck it down to my cardstock with painters tape.
2. place my C plate (I'm using a Cuttlebug) so that it stops just under the wand, die cut.
3. place the C plate so it covers just above the wand.
4. This should essentially leave you with a small area on both sides that still need to be cut, on the left hand side I took my scissors and very carefully continued the line, on the right side I carefully fussy cut the wand down to the die cut line.

Card Ingredients:
Card Stock: Kassazz pomegranate standard card base, Francheville white and black card stock.
Papers: Patterned paper from stash.
Stamps: FabrikaFantasy Mightly Wizard, sentiment created in Word.
Dies: Mpress covex square, mount created with Brother Scan and Cut, Mpress curved rectangle.
Other: Francheville gems, red bakers twine from stash, wink of stella clear glitter pen.
